Niko Muir has added his name to an exclusive section of Hendon FC history.

The 25-year-old striker reached 30 league goals for the campaign in a 2-2 draw at Wingate & Finchley yesterday afternoon. In striking twice from the penalty spot, Muir became just the second Hendon player to reach the milestone since the club joined the Isthmian League in 1963, the Greens’ club website says.

The only other player to have achieved the feat is David Hyde in the 1964-65 season, when he scored 35 in the league, and another 24 in cup games.
