The National League has launched a Facebook Page, mainly to communicate to a wider audience to promote what the competition is doing on the event side of its operation.

It is not intended to operate it like a normal Facebook page for individual interaction. The league retains Twitter to do that on a daily basis, although there will be times that Facebook will be a useful interactive and informative tool.

In a joint collaboration with Vanarama, for which the league are most grateful, the drive starting this week will be to promote the Vanarama `Big Day Out` at Wembley on 15th May and to also create awareness not only for ticket sales regarding the Promotion Final at the stadium but to cover the North and South finals in a new way to attract greater support to those end of season occasions.
