The National League North and South have had their seasons officially suspended for the next two weeks.
Various clubs had indicated their preference to suspend the season, in light of the funding options presented to them by the league earlier this week. Now, a statement from the league this afternoon reads:
“Following the review of the feedback from clubs in connection to the recent clubs meeting, a board meeting this morning decided to halt the participation in the North/South divisions for a two-week period, effective immediately.
“As a result, tomorrow’s games are formally postponed.”
