Wealdstone’s 2016/17 `golden boot` winner Elliot Benyon has expressed his delight at signing up for another season at The Vale.

The 29-year-old former Torquay United and Southend United striker scored an impressive 22 goals from thirty-two starts and eleven substitute appearances for Stones last term – a total that surely would have been very much higher had he not sustained a long-term injury that unfortunately kept him sidelined for almost half the season.

Benyon said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to have signed. I have been speaking to Gordon Bartlett for a few weeks and it’s great to have now put pen-to-paper.

“They’re a great group of boys at Wealdstone and I can’t wait to get back into training and to really go for it next season”.
