John Ramshaw, who took over as manager of Total Motion Midland League Division One club Hinckley AFC two weeks ago, has added four new players to his squad.

Ramshaw returned to the club having originally left with manager James Jepson, for whom he was assistant boss.

But a change of heart and talks over original disagreements saw the experienced Ramshaw return.

After losing striker Jordan Wilson to United Counties League Division One side Lutterworth Town this week, Ramshaw has added David Jones, Ryan Murphy, Tyrone Burton and Benn Minshull to his squad.

Jones is a Bermudan international striker who joins from East Midlands Counties League side Eastwood Community.

The forward has also played for Ilkeston Town and played under Ramshaw in the academy at Mansfield Town.

A goalscoring midfielder, Murphy scored 12 goals in 17 starts for Midland League Division Two side Coventry Alvis this season.

He also featured in Bedworth United’s youth side before joining Alvis.

Central defender Burton joins from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East side AFC Mansfield.

He signed for the Bulls in the summer from their league rivals Carlton Town, having previously featured for Arnold Town, Eastwood Town and Gedling Miners Welfare.

Minshull is a former Burton Albion youngster who has featured in the Midland League First Division for a number of years with the likes of Bolehall Swifts, Atherstone Town and Heather St John’s.

A forward with ability from set-pieces, he featured most recently for East Midlands Counties Leaguers Ashby Ivanhoe.
