Players from Cirencester Town visited a brand-new community in the town this weekend to show off their new kit.
Members of the team went to David Wilson Homes’ new Pembroke Park development to show the housebuilder how its sponsorship money has been spent.
The five-star house builder signed a deal to support the club at the end of last year and among the ways it has helped is giving the team a fresh new kit.
Scott Griffin, team secretary at Cirencester Town FC, said: “The team is over the moon with the new kit and we’re really grateful to David Wilson Homes for the kind donation. We’re hoping the new kit will bring us even more luck for the rest of the season.”
Ellie Santalucia, sales adviser at Pembroke Park, added: “It was a pleasure to welcome the team along at the weekend and see first-hand how great the kit looks. We’re always keen to support local clubs in the communities where we are building new homes and Cirencester Town FC, with its ground just a short minute walk from us, is a worthy recipient.
“The club is a not for profit organisation and every penny they raise goes straight back in to fund new equipment for all players – including the youth and women’s teams. We’re delighted to be showing our support for such an important local sports resource.”
Cirencester Town FC’s visit to Pembroke Park coincided with a bumper weekend for home sales. David Wilson Homes saw a spike of interest in properties at the development.
