Bishop`s Stortford have taken young goalkeeper Richard Walton on a month`s loan from National League leaders Lincoln City.
A product of the the Imps’ youth system, Walton was handed his first professional contract in the summer of 2016 following the conclusion of his scholarship.
He was named in the first-team squad for the first time in November 2015 and gained experience in the latter half of the 2015/16 season on loan with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South neighbours Lincoln United.
And he has recently returned from a month`s loan with United`s league rivals Spalding United – then managed by Dave Frecklington, who was in charge at Lincoln United when they took him on loan.
