Newly-formed North Ferriby FC have launched a crowdfunder project in a bid to renovate their home at Church Road as preparations for next season begin.

In March, North Ferriby United were forced to liquidate after failing to pay off a number of owed debts.

Last month, former United chairman Les Hare announced that he will return to the Villagers to lead up the new FC project, having spent more than 20 years as part of United’s board prior to their extinction under the ownership of former chairman Carl Chadwick.

Since Hare rescued the club, forming the new side which will either compete in the Northern Counties East League’s Premier Division or the NCEL’s Division One during the 2019/20 campaign, the new club have discovered that many of the ground’s facilities require desperate renovation.
