New Petersfield Town manager Jim Macey has wasted no time in adding some new signings to his first team squad.

The new Rams boss has announced the details of five new players who will be joining him at Love Lane – they will be added to the players in the current first team squad and the young double winning reserve team.
Former Brentford midfielder Josh Stockwell has joined the Rams – the ex-Thatcham Town and Amesbury Town player can play anywhere across the midfield but Macey says he is “better as a wide man and he is deadly on free kicks.”

Striker Cameron George brings with him plenty of pace and hopefully goals too – he scored 10 goals for Amesbury Town last season before joining Tadley Calleva and netted almost the same amount for them.

Alex Oakman is another striker who has been added to the Rams’ ranks – Macey describes the former Thatcham Town man as “a big strong lad and he will give defenders a hard time physically.”

Former Hartley Wintney and Amesbury Town player Max Elward is also heading to Love Lane – he can play as a holding midfielder or centre back.
Midfielder Ryan Tyrell will also be joining Petersfield. He used to play for Western League outfit Chippenham Park.
