Amari Morgan-Smith feels truly at home at AFC Telford United – because he already lives in the town.
The 28-year-old striker has joined the Bucks on an 18-month deal from York City. And having lived in Telford for the last five years, he is intent on getting the goals to help Rob Edwards’ side climb away from danger in National League North.
“I was born in Wolverhampton and I’ve been living in Telford for the last five years,” said Morgan-Smith. “I always thought that I’d sign for Telford.
“I’m home, I’m happy, with my family around me. I feel good.
“I’ll give it my all, everything I have, when I pull the shirt on – fans will find that out about me. Hopefully I’ll be here for a long time and can help the club move back in the right direction.”
