Darlington striker Reece Styche has signed a new two-year contract.
He is understood to have agreed an 18-month deal when he joined from Tamworth midway through last season, but his new two-year contract commits him to Quakers for a longer spell and represents another boost for manager Tommy Wright having made a number of astute signings in recent weeks.
Styche scored 13 goals for Darlington in 22 games last year, 23 goals in 36 appearances including his start to the season with Tamworth.
“It goes without saying that last season was one of the best I’ve had personally,” he told the Darlington FC website.
“The fans took to me, obviously I know the gaffer well and I played some of my best football, so I’m really happy.”
