Wrexham manager Graham Barrow is hoping he is successful in a bid to sign an unnamed player as well as securing the services of Bobby Grant and Brad Walker for longer, The Leader report.

Striker Grant’s loan spell from Fleetwood Town finished after yesterday’s 2-0 defeat at title rivals Salford City while Crewe midfielder Walker’s stint at the The Racecourse ends after Saturday’s home match with Dover Athletic.

Barrow is keeping his fingers crossed he can keep the duo as well as make new signings in the January transfer window, with the Reds boss eager to add to his attacking options.

“The sooner we do something about it for these games coming up the better,” said Barrow.

“It is just getting over these next couple of games and then there is the Trophy game which gives us a bit of a breather.”
