AFC Sudbury Caretaker Manager Danny Laws has been busy after a day or so in the job and has made a couple of announcements.

Laws was pleased to say that Goalkeeping Coach Danny Potter will be with him in the dugout on Saturday as the club play Chipstead in the FA Cup, stating that Potter wanted to remain with the club after the departure of the previous management team.

Leaving King’s Marsh is midfielder Jack Newman who has been released from his contract with the club. He has signed for Thurlow Nunn Premier side Hadleigh United to enable him to play more football.

Jack joined AFC at the start of the 2015/16 season and won a Isthmian League North Championship medal at the end of it. During last season he had a spell on loan with Wroxham before returning to AFC this term.

He played 68 games for the club, scoring four times.
