Chester have said that ‘no commitments remain outstanding’ over Stuart Murphy’s involvement with the club.
Murphy signaled his intention to end his association with the club back in May.
It followed the local entrepreneur’s bid to assume full control at the National League North side.
Murphy’s £1million investment (over three years) into the club was officially approved in June 2018.
The club have today said: “Following a thorough review, we can confirm that no commitments remain outstanding, and that matters have now been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.
“We again thank Mr Murphy for all his considerable financial assistance over the last two years, and wish him well with his 1885 Sporting Village project.”
