An away tie at SkyBet Championship club Ipswich Town was the reward for Lincoln City after they knocked Oldham Athletic out of the FA Cup on Monday night.

The Third Round draw was made prior to the game by former England internationals Steven Gerrard and Ian Wright and the Imps’ draw with the Suffolk side was the first tie to be drawn.

There were six other non-league clubs entered into the draw, although only in-form Barrow and Sutton United have already confirmed their place in the Third Round.

Following their Second Round heroics at Bristol Rovers, Barrow were handed a home draw against Rochdale, whilst fellow giantillers Sutton United will host AFC Wimbledon, conquerors of Curzon Ashton on Sunday.

Three of the four remaining non-league sides face replays before they can guarentee a Third Round place.

Two of those sides will face each other next week, with FC Halifax Town and Eastleigh now knowing that the prize for victory will be an away tie at SkyBet Championship club Brentford.

Macclesfield Town will travel to Rotherham United if they can see off Oxford United in next week’s replay.

The final non-league club, Stourbridge, had their Second Round tie against Northampton postponed on Sunday, with the rearranged fixture taking place on Tuesday 13th December.  The winners will travel to Wycombe Wanderers.

The ties will all take place on the weekend of Saturday 7th January.
