Northwich Victoria have signed forward Billy Webb.

The 27-year-old joins the Vics after leaving Widnes FC. His previous clubs include Warrington Town, Runcorn Linnets, Northcote City (Australia) Runcorn Town and City of Liverpool.

On joining the Green and Whites, Webb told the club’s website:

“I’m excited to join Northwich Victoria. It’s a huge club with big ambitions and an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.

“With the players being signed already, it’s made a huge statement within the league and the aim is to go on and win it. I’m really looking forward to the season getting started.”

Manager Steve Wilkes said of his new addition:

“I’ve worked with Billy before when I was manager at Runcorn Linnets. He’s very quick and direct and can play anywhere along the front line and even as a right-winger.

“Billy has a great appetite to succeed and I hope that he achieves success with us at Northwich Victoria.”
