Northwich Victoria have announced that young defender Olly Muir has joined them on a month’s loan from Evo-Stik Premier League club Lancaster City

Muir penned his first contract with the Dolly Blues earlier this month and joins to gain more experience.
Muir has featured several times for the Lancaster first team this season and is highly tipped as a future star at the Giant Axe.

“We’ve really high hopes for Olly,” said Lancaster manager Mark Fell. “He’s got some great attributes and a professional outlook to his football, he goes into a strong Northwich side with good players that he’ll learn from and a knowledgable management team.”

Vics also announce that pacy striker Jordan Darr has joined on an initial month’s loan from National League North club Chorley. Darr has just returned from a loan spell at Bamber Bridge.

In further team news, Antony Shinks has left the club and has joined Ashton Town.
