Tom Killick admits Poole Town’s focus must be on improving their “dreadful” home form when they face Wealdstone in National South on Saturday.

With just two wins at the Black Gold Stadium this season, Dolphins have the worst home record in the division and are eight points from safety with five fixtures remaining.

Killick told the Daily Echo: “We have to win at least three games and you have to think Concord and Hungerford are going to win at least one game each, so I would imagine we would have to win four. Our chances are slim but I don’t think there is any point focusing too far ahead because results elsewhere could take the whole thing away from us.

“Our sole focus has to be on trying to win against Wealdstone and then seeing what else goes on. We have been dreadful at home pretty much all season and we have to try to produce a good performance.”
