It will be Harrogate Town or Notts County playing League football next season, as the two clubs won their respective National League play-off semi-finals.
For Harrogate, it is a first trip to Wembley and the chance to reach the EFL for the first time in their history. They were 1-0 winners at home to Boreham Wood thanks to Jack Muldoon’s faint touch on 65 minutes.
Simon Weaver’s team will be joined by Notts County, who saw off Barnet 2-0 at Meadow Lane. Kristian Dennis gave them the lead after 37 minutes, with a superb solo effort from Callum Roberts doubling the advantage around the hour mark.
It is on to Wembley for the two sides next Sunday, with Notts given a chance to make an immediate return to League Two.
