Notts County owners Christoffer and Alexander Reedtz are part of the investment group which has just become the majority shareholder of Viborg FF.
The Danish club recently returned to the top flight, with the new investors acquiring 70 per cent of shares in the club.
The Reedtz brothers have invested alongside Better Collective founders Jesper Søgaard and Christian Kirk Rasmussen.
The Notts owners, though, are keen to stress that this does not compromise their involvement with the National League side, telling the club’s website: “We are very pleased to be part of a project to establish Viborg as a competitive Superliga side in the long-term and look forward to making positive contributions to the club through our established and ever-improving analysis models.
“Our enjoyable experience of professional football led to us making this decision and we believe deploying our methods in another culture and environment will be beneficial to both Viborg and Notts County in the future.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed our two years so far at the world’s oldest professional club and our investment in Viborg does not affect our ownership in any way.”
