With a number of new signings announced, Jimmy Ginnelly’s Nuneaton Borough squad will look vastly different this season.

There will still be some familiar faces however. Rhys Sharpe agreed terms to return last week and he will be joined by four contracted players from last season; Miles Addison, Cam Belford, Devon Kelly-Evans and Curtis Obeng.

Captain Cam Belford, who joined in August last year, made 42 appearances, contributing one assist and numerous highlight reel saves.

“We all know about the disappointment of last season” said Belford, continuing “But this forthcoming season is a chance to right a few wrongs, rebuild as a whole, both on and off the pitch, and put some smiles back on the faces of our incredible fans.

“They’ve stuck by this club through thick and thin and we all want to give them something back, whilst giving the town a club they can be proud of once again.”
