Nuneaton Borough’s top scorer Dior Angus has returned to parent club Port Vale after a fantastic loan spell at Liberty Way.
The striker showed brilliant form throughout his time at the Boro’, totalling 14 goals and two assists. He became a vital part of the side after signing for the club in July and will be sorely missed, the club say.
Upon his departure Angus, said: “It [the loan spell] has been massively helpful. The club means a lot to me anyway because of my dad’s previous time here.
“I’m really thankful for everyone for letting me come and play here. I think it’s done me well. I appreciate it.”
The 24-year-old also voiced his backing of new boss Jimmy Ginnelly, saying: “We looked a lot better since he came in. Once they can be a bit more solid I think they’ll be a good side.”
