Nuneaton Town boss, Tommy Wright, has heaped praise upon Jordan Nicholson after the on-loan Peterborough United man helped himself to five goals in our 6-1 Buildbase FA Trophy rout of Guiseley.
“His first goal was probably one of the ugliest finishes that I have ever seen,” said Wright with a smile. “But he’s so persistent and works his socks off to get his reward.
“There are not many players who are prepared to do the graft that he does; he works hard both in and out of possession and gets himself into some great positions.
“He is a great lesson for the younger players in the group to learn from and he totally deserved his five goals at the weekend.
“Guiseley simply had no answer to him.”
