Nuneaton Town boss Tommy Wright has given his verdict on our 1-1 home draw with Gloucester City as our visitors grabbed a last-gasp equaliser.

“The lads are kicking themselves that we didn’t take all three points from the game,” he said. “It’s two points dropped for us, but that’s football and we’ll take the positives from the game.

“Gloucester are a well-drilled side who set up well against us, but we were the better side for long spells in the game and hit the woodwork a couple of times.

“I’ve got a fearless young group of players here who want to go out and win games and maybe this cost us a bit on this occasion as we weren’t able to see the game out.

“Yes, we’re disappointed, but we’ll take the good aspects out of the game and be ready to go again at the weekend when we play host to Chorley.”
