Former West Bromwich Albion player James Hurst has agreed a deal with Nuneaton Borough.
The 26-year-old right-back, who can play right-midfield, becomes the latest player to sign after impressing during his two trial games against Coalville Town and Kettering Town.
Hurst started out with West Bromwich Albion academy and resigned with The Baggies in 2010 after joining Portsmouth, spending much of his time out on loan in the Championship and League One before moving to Iceland to play for Valur.
After a period of time with Crawley Town, and a second spell at Valur, the former England youth International signed for Hednesford Town. After an impressive spell with Torquay United the following season, scoring seven goals in 17 league appearances, Hurst has since played for Guiseley, AFC Telford United, Dover Athletic and most recently Wrexham in the National League.
