There was a familiar face back amongst the substitutes at Boston United on Saturday as Nuneaton Town re-signed Kristian Scott from AFC Fylde.

The deal was completed just in time for the former Leicester City youngster to be part of the squad that travelled to face The Pilgrims.

“It’s just as if he’s been away on holiday,” smiled Boro boss, Tommy Wright. “He is a player that I rate highly and he knows that.

“He’s now ready and focussed to show everyone what he can do here. He was having a tough time getting into the starting XI and wanted to go and give it a go at AFC Fylde but we’ve stayed in touch and after some persuasion and reassurances, he has decided to return.

“I couldn’t be happier and I am looking for him to make a big impact for the remainder of this season and into next season.”
