New Nuneaton Town signing Luther Wildin can’t wait to test himself at National League North level after joining the club alongside brother, Courtney, last month.
The strong and powerful former Notts County youngster is able to operate at right-back or as a defensive midfielder.
“I’m buzzing with this move,” he admitted. “The standard is high and I am looking forward to testing myself at this level.
“I’ve watched my brother play in this League and know what it’s all about. I was on loan at Grantham Town last season at the level below and I know only too well that this is a big step up from that but I can’t wait to show what I can do.
“I’ve been working hard to ensure that I am physically strong enough to be able to hold my own and I’ll be making the most of pre-season so that I am ready for the challenge ahead.
“I’d like to think that I’ll bring composure on the ball to the team. I have a good football brain and will be looking to add pace and power to the team.
“The Gaffer has put a good bunch of lads together; there’s a nice blend of youth and experience with a winning mindset that will stand us in good stead.
“From a personal point of view I want to be able to establish myself and get as much game time as possible. I want to be able to keep improving as a player and be able to take advantage of this opportunity to secure my place in the team.”
