Defender Jimmy Oates has returned to Vanarama National League North club Hereford FC on loan from League Two side Exeter City until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old former Hartpury College student signed for the Grecians at the beginning of the season from the Bulls, and returns having played 6 times for the Grecians so far this season.

The Australian made his debut for Exeter away at Craven Cottage against Fulham in the Carabao Cup and he also featured heavily as the Grecians reached the knockout stages of the Checkatrade Trophy.

Oates had played for Hereford since its first season in 2015, and help them to promotion in the 2017/18 season, after also playing for them at Wembley in the 2016 Buildbase FA Vase Final.
