Billericay Town’s ex-Tottenham and Wolves midfielder Jamie O’Hara has been fined £400 after admitting an assault on a schoolboy.

O’Hara was charged with assault by beating after lashing out at the 14-year-old following Billericay Town’s defeat to Leatherhead in April.

He appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty.

He was fined £400 and told he must pay £50 compensation to the victim, £85 costs and a £40 victim surcharge.
