Oldham Athletic defender Jamie Stott has returned to Stockport County for his third loan spell at Edgeley Park in less than a year.
The popular 21-year-old goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s mouth-watering clash with Spennymoor Town.
County boss Jim Gannon said: “Jamie grew and grew over the course of his time with us and I’m really pleased that we’ve played a part in his progress.
“At the time we wished him a fond farewell as he returned to Oldham and he went straight back into their team, but the door has always been open here if he found he wasn’t playing regularly and if Oldham felt it was important for him to be playing games.
“Everybody knows what Jamie did here and everybody knows what he brought to the team and it’s fantastic to have him back and I’m really looking forward to having him involved on Saturday.”
