Young Burton Albion goalkeeper Sam Hornby has been named as player of the season for Brackley Town.
Hornby initially joined the Saints on a month`s loan deal back in October 2015 but his outstanding performances secured him a longer loan.
He has been ever-present in their side as they battle on to stay in the division.
Brackley manager Kevin Wilkin named young Hornby as the managers` player of the season and the keeper was also nominated by his team-mates as players` player.
Brackley chairman Francis Oliver opened proceedings at their annual awards evening by highlighting the strides made at the club through its community programme. He said: “We have had another memorable season at the club.
“It has been memorable for many reasons – largely good ones – including a first season in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League for Brackley Town Saints, a fourth season at Step 2 in National League North for the first-team, national coverage in the FA Cup and great steps forward for the club in the community.”
