FC Halifax Town have announced the signing of 22-year-old midfielder Cameron King on a two-year contract.
The news comes as midfielder Jake Hibbs leaves the club after five years with the club. Hibbs helped Town win the FA Trophy final at Wembley in 2016 and made 25 appearances in the National League last season. King started his career at Norwich City, making one senior appearance in 2014, and has also played for Scotland’s under 21 side.
His last club was Irish side Shamrock Rovers.
On his signing, Town boss Jamie Fullarton said: “Whilst Cameron maybe is an unknown quantity to most of our fans, he isn’t to me and I am sure we will see during the coming months why we are delighted to have secured him for the next two years.”
