Striker Nick McCootie has become the latest player to agree a new deal for the 2016/17 season with Bath City.
McCootie joins Frankie Artus, Dan Ball, Jack Batten, Chas Hemmings, Billy Murphy, Andy Watkins and goalkeeper Steve Phillips in remaining at Twerton Park, along with the club`s latest new signing George Rigg.
Rigg joins the club from Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side Weymouth.
The Bristol-based midfielder came up through the junior ranks with Bristol City before spending a couple of years with Stoke City.
He moved to the South Coast with Weymouth in January 2014 and was soon a vital part of the Terras` midfield.
The 22-year-old said: “I’m very excited to sign. It’s a big club and I’m raring to go. It all happened fairly quickly after the end of the season at Weymouth. I know manager Gary Owers, and we spoke throughout last season after he took over at Bath.
When the season closed we had another chat about what was right for him and right for me, and it happened from there. I’m looking forward to it. I know I can play at that level and it will be a good challenge, so I can’t wait.”
