Hot-shot Akwasi Asante is back at Solihull Moors. The striker returns to The Moors from Grimsby Town on a loan deal until January.
The news is sure to be well-received by all connected with the club after the 25-year-old became a fans’ favourite with 33 goals in a season and a half spell at The Automated Technology Group Stadium between June 2015 and January 2017.
Of note, Asante was The Moors’ golden boot winner – with 21 goals – during the historic Vanarama National League North title-winning season in 2015/16.
The Dutch-born Ghanaian becomes new manager Richard Money’s second signing after Chris Camwell’s arrival on loan from Coventry City last week.
