Leyton Orient have signed winger Jordan Maguire-Drew for an undisclosed fee from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 21-year-old, who will wear the number 10 shirt, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract and will hope to be involved against Salford City on Saturday, subject to international clearance.
Maguire-Drew spent the first half of the 2018/19 season at National League rivals Wrexham AFC, where he scored three times in 17 appearances, having spent last season at League Two sides Lincoln City and Coventry City.
The highly-rated youngster’s best spell came at Boxing Day opponents Dagenham & Redbridge, where he scored 16 goals and assisted 15 times in all competitions as the Daggers reached the play-offs, Maguire-Drew being named as the club’s Young Player of the Season.
He told leytonorient.com: “I got a call from my agent saying Orient wanted to sign me and I said ‘get it done’ straight away. It’s a great club to be at, it’s a club on the up and I want to be part of the success here
“I like to get supporters off their seats, I like trying to make things happen, score goals, create goals, get the team up the pitch as much as I can when I get the ball.”
