Leyton Orient have confirmed the appointments of Lewis Spencer and Jimmy Unwin as Academy Manager and Head of Coaching.
Academy Manager Spencer returns to E10 having previously worked as the Centre of Excellence Goalkeeper Coach, and joins following three years at Colchester United in which he served as the U’s Head of Education. Spencer lists spells with Watford Ladies, Charlton Athletic Women’s and West Ham Ladies on his CV and is also an FA Tutor delivering Level One and Level Two coaching courses.
Head of Coaching Unwin joins the Club having spent six years with Championship outfit Norwich City where he held a number of roles including Lead Phase Coach, and has also previously worked for Cambridge United.
In addition, the Club is pleased to announce Peter Gill has been promoted to Professional Development Phase Assistant Coach in which he will now work alongside Danny Webb in nurturing the O’s Youth Team scholars.
