Josh Koroma says his first goal against AFC Fylde was one of the best of his career after helping Leyton Orient earn a 3-1 win at Mill Farm.
The versatile Orient forward has been one of the main success stories during Justin Edinburgh’s time in charge at Brisbane Road, with the 19-year-old going from a role as an impact substitute to one of the first names on the team-sheet.
Speaking to Leyton Orient’s website, he said: “All the boys are buzzing because we got the three points against a tough AFC Fylde team. I’m obviously delighted to get two goals because I haven’t been scoring much recently but I would’ve been happy if it was Macca [Macauley Bonne] who got a hat-trick and we won 3-1.
“The main thing was the three points. I squared up the defender in the box, used my body movement to get past him and then literally just toe poked it and it went in.
“I was delighted.”
