Midfielder Alex Osborn has left Hemel Hempstead Town to join struggling Vanarama National League South rivals East Thurrock United.

Osborn joined Hemel ahead of the 2017/18 season.

The 25-year-old was with league rivals Whitehawk prior to joining the Tudors and was an impressive performer in the Hawks `winner-takes-all` play-off decider just over two years ago.

Osborn started out as a young forward with Grays Athletic before signing for Thurrock and then Dagenham & Redbridge.

Spells at Chelmsford City and Billericay Town followed before a long-term loan at Ebbsfleet United became a permanent move.

He spent time on loan at Hayes & Yeading United, Maidstone United, Concord Rangers and Whitehawk whilst at Stonebridge Road before Osborn moved onto Margate in the summer of 2016 before switching to the Hawks that November.

Having been involved in two National League South play-off finals with two clubs, Osborn will bring fantastic experience and much quality to the Rocks` relegation battle.
