Ossett United have confirmed the signing of FC United of Manchester’s record goalscorer Tom Greaves.

Greaves, who had a spell recently as player-manager at FC United, joins Ossett United from Hyde United. He signs ahead of the FA Trophy fixture away at Lancaster and brings with him a wealth of experience.
Manager Andy Welsh said: “Tom is a great player and someone I have personally played alongside. He knows the game and he will fit straight into our team.
“We are very excited to see him in action.”
