The Forster family have transferred ownership of North Ferriby United to local businessman Jamie Waltham.

Waltham, who played for the Villagers for a number of years, receives the club debt free, taking over from Steve and Eman Forster as owner of the club, who say they are no longer able to commit the time necessary.

After just two years in charge, the Forsters listed the club for sale in 2015, as Ferriby had become totally reliant on the owners for survival, despite owning the Villagers during their most successful period as a club.

Under their stewardship, Ferriby won the FA Trophy and promotion to the fifth tier of English football for the first time in the club’s history.
