Leamington have confirmed that Joe Parker will be back in action for the club this coming season.
The attacking midfielder was absent for the majority of the previous campaign.
The National League North side’s manager Paul Holleran has said today:
“Twelve months ago, personally struggling with mental health issues for the second time in his football career, Joe Parker reached out for help at the football club.
“We were in contact with the PFA straight away, and through their Sporting Chance scheme, the PFA were providing counselling sessions for Joe within 48 hours.
“It has been a really long, hard journey for Joe, with many late-night phone calls, but with the support of his family, friends, the PFA and Leamington, we now have Joe Parker back in the group.”
