Havant & Waterlooville moved to within three points of the National League South summit with another impressive away win.
The Westleigh Park outfit, who still have two games in hand on leaders Dartford, overpowered 10-man Poole Town 3-1. Boss Lee Bradbury praised the patience shown by the visitors as they successfully broke down their hosts’ dogged resistance.

“The situation makes them work that little bit harder because they know they have to. At the same time you can easily take your foot off the pedal.
“We made sure we didn’t do that. On probably the biggest pitch in the league we kept moving the ball around.
“We knew if we did that we would eventually wear them down. I thought it was a great performance by us.”
