The Reds host Sporting in a pre-season encounter (3pm) with the National League North opener against Leamington fast approaching on August 3rd.
Pemberton revealed that he is getting closer to adding further additions to his squad, but stressed the importance of remaining patient to ensure that the right additions are made.
“We’ve got a few things still ongoing, hopefully they will come off and we will see some new faces coming in to add to what we’ve got,” revealed the gaffer.
“I did say right at the start that it will take time, I don’t mind spending the time and I don’t want to panic into bringing someone else in and not get the one we want.
“One of the big things as well for me is with the old faces that have been here, I think you’ll see a different mentality and a different side to them at the moment, and long may that continue.”
