Chesterfield manager John Pemberton was left to lament the stoppage-time goal which gave Torquay United all three points on Tuesday evening.
Asa Hall struck with the clock ticking down after Tom Denton had put the Spireites back on level terms just before the break.
The Spireites boss admitted that it was a disappointing goal to concede.
He said: “We can’t defend a corner and it’s not good enough.”
