Caretaker Chesterfield manager John Pemberton spoke to the media ahead of Chesterfield’s short trip to Notts County on Saturday.

On the back of the 1-1 draw against AFC Fylde at the Proact last Saturday, Pemberton expressed his side’s change of mentality towards the result and said the Spireites will be positive ahead of this weekend.

“When we came in after the game, the players were disappointed that we’d drawn a game,” he said.

“It’s been a long time since we could say that. We’ve had three games, won two, drawn one, we’ve still got momentum and we’re unbeaten in three.

“I always look for the following week after a game about what could help us to win the next game and if I look at the atmosphere and the attitude coming in after a draw instead of a loss makes it different in training and around the club.”
