Macclesfield Town winger Omry Perel hopes that he can build on top of his National League debut, following the 2-1 defeat to Guiseley on Saturday.
The 22-year old started for the Silkmen on Saturday and showed signs of promise for John Askey’s men.
Perel has been capped by Israel U19’s before and had played for several Israeli teams, including giants Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Following appearances for Egerton and Droylsden, Omry told mtfc.co.uk that he enjoyed his first appearance in a Macclesfield shirt and feels confident within himself to improve further.
“I feel good. It’s difficult to get used to the game in England but I feel confident that I can be consistent at this level.
“The fans supported me and have given me a lot of confidence for the future.
“It was disappointing not to get a result. We must take our chances in the future and get some wins in a row now.”
