The committee at Petersfield Town has decided to scrap the director of football role at the club.
A statement released by club chairman Graeme Moir said:?“I can confirm that Gary Lines has left the club in his capacity as director of football and as a committee member.
“The committee decided that the role of director of football was not working for the football management side of the club, and after Gary’s departure we will not be seeking anyone else for the role.
“The club would like to place on record its thanks to Gary for all of his hard work both on and off the pitch while he has been with us this season.”
No other changes have been made to the football management team, meaning John Robson and his assistant Matt Collins remain in charge of first team matters and Shane Brayson and his assistant Tim Farmer will continue with the reserves.
