Dagenham & Redbridge have signed Harry Phipps on a one-year-deal.
Phipps put pen to paper to join the Daggers ahead of the opening game of the National League season.
The midfielder was released from Maidstone United in May, after his two-year deal came to an end. Phipps earned his move to Maidstone after impressing at Isthmian Premier side Margate.
While at the Stones, Phipps spent a month with National League South side Welling United, bolstering the Wings’ midfield.
The Daggers media team spoke with manager Peter Taylor on Phipps joining the club, in which he commented: “Even though Harry is only 19-years-old, he has played lots of football, we believe he has got a lot more to offer and it’s another young player who we feel will earn great experience from playing a lot of football at this club. Harry is also a holding midfield player that I felt we needed at the club.”
