Pickering Town have sacked manager Denny Ingram.

The former Hartlepool United defender was appointed in February 2019, but it has been a difficult season for the Pikes, who sit at the foot of the BetVictor Northern Premier League North West Division at present.

After 21 games, they are two points adrift of Kendal Town in 19th.

A club statement said: “The club would like to put on record their sincere thanks to Denny for all his hard work and endeavour whilst he has been manager, but unfortunately football is very much a results game, and our results this season have been disappointing.”
