Rushall Olympic have revealed that defender Jack Duggan, midfielder Jake Heath, and striker Luke Benbow have all joined Stourbridge ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
Duggan has spent three years of his career with the Pics; putting in some impressive performances along the way.
The 23-year-old scored both goals in a superb 2-1 win over Corby Town in this season’s FA Cup and also netted in Rushall’s 4-1 Staffs Senior Cup win at Vale Park.
A fee has been agreed between the two clubs for Jack.
21-year-old Heath originally joined Rushall on loan from Walsall in the 2014/15 season where he was a stand-out, consistent and versatile player for the Pics. Despite his good form, he was released by the Saddlers that summer and rejoined his team mates at Dales Lane for the 2015/16 season where he helped Rushall secure a 10th place finish.
Top scorer Benbow will be linking up with his former team mates at Amblecote as he left the Glassboys to come to Rushall in August 2015. Luke was unfortunate with injuries this season and only managed a handful of appearances after Christmas.
Despite this, he still managed to take the clubs top scorer award and, but for his back injury, may well have succeeded in winning the Northern Premier League’s Golden Boot.
The trio will be tough to replace but the Pics will be working behind the scenes to bring in some fresh faces in time for John Allen’s return to management.
